South Carolina Restaurant Boycotts Super Bowl LII in Anger Over Protests

So it appears that this restaurant’s owner is so incensed that players are not standing during the national anthem that the response to boycott the NFL will extend to the Super Bowl.  This restaurant has lined up a live music event for Super Bowl Sunday where their regular patrons and those from out of town will have the chance to gather for their “Blacks need to learn their place” bonding ritual. Ridiculous.  

Even though the Super Bowl is the highest rated and most watched television program annually, one South Carolina restaurant won’t show the big game on Feb. 4.

That’s because the owner of the Palmetto Restaurant and Ale House in Greenville has been turning off NFL games for almost the entire season. And that won’t change on Super Bowl Sunday.
