Article by Paul Gutierrez at espn.com.au. John Gruden wasn’t slick with this ridiculous statement about Kaepernick not being signed , but neither is RGIII, Tim Tebow, or Johnny Manziel. Further, he is being deliberately obtuse comparing these others players to Kaepernick. RGIII never recovered from his injuries, Johnny barely did anything in the NFL, and Tebow got another chance and failed like many other players who got cut or whose contracts expired. And though Gabbert beat him out to start 2016, Kap took back over a few games later. Looks like Chuckie is making an early appearance.

I think, Robert Griffin, a rookie of the year, [I’m] surprised he’s out there. Tim Tebow takes a team to the playoffs, there’s some surprise that he never came back. You know, Johnny Manziel, he’s out there.
“Back to Kaepernick, he got beat out by [Blaine] Gabbert to start the season. I think that says something. [But] I am surprised he’s not in camp with somebody. He probably will be soon.”
