Jerry Jones Declines to Answer Protest Query Due to Kaepernick Subpoena

Hill Jr. at tucson.com.  Jerry Jones is one of a number of owners subpoenaed by Kaepernick in his collusion case.  Unlike Texans owner Bob McNair who was himself deposed, Jerry decided to refrain from commenting given its possible effect on the case.  Interesting the most outspoken owner in the NFL who has repeatedly shown poor judgment exercised some restraint. 

ORLANDO, Fla. — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ position on NFL players protesting during the national anthem is well known.

He barred his team from participating in the protests for social justice last season, threatening to not play anyone who didn’t respect the flag or the anthem before games.

The question now is whether Jones would sign a free-agent player who protested in the past.
