This week saw a further decrease in reports of NFL players who protested during the national anthem from 8 to just 5. Out of nearly 1,700 players. Whether this is a reflection of an actual decrease in demonstrations or the failure to report said actions is unknown. This is especially the case regarding players who have consistently protested during the anthem, such as Marshawn Lynch of the Oakland Raiders or Duane Brown, Quinton Jefferson, and Branden Jackson of the Seattle Seahawks. The complete list of protests is here.
Check back every Tuesday for the latest round-up of reports of NFL demonstrations during the national anthem.
