Notably this week, the newest Carolina Panther Eric Reid resumed his protest during the national anthem. Other players who generally protest such as Russell Okung and Marquise Goodwin were injured and no report of a protest was provided. In all, there were again 8 players who demonstrated during the national anthem this past week.
