Per POTUS Directive, Vice President Pence Leaves Game After Protests Ensue

Vice President Pence, former governor of Indiana, attended an NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts. The 49ers had knelt during the national anthem the previous week, and did so again today.  Following the anthem, VP Pence left the game.  He posted a statement via Twitter which contended that he would “not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, or our National Anthem, or our Flag.” POTUS weighed in with a  tweet stating that he’d asked the VP to leave if players knelt during the anthem.
