Interesting developments for Week 1 include:
-Malcolm Jenkins of the Philadelphia Eagles deciding, once again as he did in late 2017, to cease protesting.
-Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson of the Miami Dolphins became the first to kneel during this season, and received a shout-out from Colin Kaepernick.
-Brandon Marshall asserts that his rationale for remaining off of the field has evolved from protesting racism and police brutality to bringing awareness to a new leadership initiative he has launched.
