Michael Thomas is exactly the sort of free agent that the Pittsburgh Steelers love to pursue. Someone from another team that didn’t have his talents properly utilized. A likely cheap price tag. He even plays a position of need at safety. On paper, the two seem like a match made in heaven. The match wasn’t fully made yet as of Monday, but the two sides took a step in the right direction. According to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic, Thomas visited the Steelers on Monday. He did not sign a contract with the team, but that is not off of the table in the future. Thomas may still be feeling out the market, as are the Steelers.
